Today I've learned something new from the real world: shadows from the trees have owners, even when the shadow falls outside their property to the common street. The logical conclusion, it seems, is that you cannot park on their tree shadow on the street.

With the new transactions record page, I read some people say that we cannot restrict results to show only transactions from today, because if we put today as initial and end date, that gives an error. Well, we can restrict transactions to show only those from today. Initial date: Today. End date: Tomorrow. (Makes perfect sense...)

The problem with being the "better person" is that (some) people actually do not care about manners. They demand you to have good manners so they can get away with what they want to do, without being called out: whatever you say about, even with the best of manners, will not be well received. But if they really cared about manners, they wouldn't be so nasty in the first place. (It just popped to my mind. I'm an innocent soul making poses for a bathtub.)

I've just remembered the time when a customer called me everything but pretty girl, because they had to figure out how to set up an AVsitter for couples, for the documentation of my (now retired) texture changer script didn't explain how to do exactly what they needed... with AVsitter. Something good (at least, for me) from the time that the snapshots weren't working in the feed, is that there were some more conversations. It reminded me of when I was a little girl, the power went down, and without television, my parents started talking to us. Now I'm a little less afraid of saying nonsense here :-) (And so, in the next mini-post, there will be a recommendation. The relationship with that and what I've just said? Nothing at all! \o/ )

Probably, during the last two years I've read more English than I've done for the rest of my life. I've gone through some good recommendations, and today, for no other reason than just babble a bit, I wanted to do one on my own. If you ask me what I would suggest reading from Spanish writers, I wouldn't pick a Spanish author (as in "from Spain") but the Argentinian-Spanish author known as "Quino". Also, the suggestion wouldn't be a book, but a comic strip. If you haven't read "Mafalda" yet, you are missing out on a great work.

I know of a person whose parents had a black Persian cat. This cat did show up from nowhere and immediately adopted them forever since. A year ago, this person had a different black Persian cat showing up from nowhere, adopting them.

You should never believe Science. Scientists are always changing their minds about chocolate being good or bad for health, so it's obvious they don't know what they're talking about. How do you feel when somebody you follow in this SL feed, posts commercial links from something they've done? (Marketplace, a blog page...)
The reason why I ask (before someone takes it personally :o) ) is that I've been avoiding posting mines for a long time, with a few exceptions, and I'm not sure if I've been an idiot for doing so. If you feel I've been an idiot, you're welcome to say :-) (I will just adopt a dramaqueen pose and then ragequit, but I'll be back in five minutes.)
So... Would you be annoyed if I started doing this?

Black stockings with laced tops. Sheer lace panties. Garters. High heels. I'm laying on my back, in the couch at home. My back, arched, my head, tilted. My hair is flowing over my shoulders, barely reaching my collarbone. My hands are over my waist, one of my knees, bending up. Light is dim in the room, warm, thanks to the fireplace. Because of my being introvert, I rarely send PM's. However, since people are lately sending messages in public, it's only fair (haha) if I think loud voice.

Today I've had a nice lunch. I've prepared some sort of pastries, filled with tomato sauce, tuna and fresh corn, to accompany slices of grilled turkey. After that, while washing the dishes, it came to my mind an accusation that seems to be thrown when you don't fit into a sexist stereotype: "traitor to your gender." Whatever that means, it seems to be the worse you can do as a woman, and so you deserve to have denied any human right.

Inevitably, this question came to my mind: When a man trapped in a woman's body decides to take the step to transgender... Is that any kind of "treason", and deserving that same cruel punishment? Or you're not allowed to feel and think in certain non stereotyped ways only if you keep your female body?

I'm still thinking about, I'll let know of any conclusions I reach to :-)

The New Year begins to chase us (New Zealand is already there), and although I'd wish for "peace in the world" and all that, I've decided to ask for more sense of humor and rational arguments to the new year (suddenly, I see peace in the world closer in time.)

I also want to share another of our sayings, which I hope helps you when you have to decide if trusting someone/something in your life: Fíate de la Virgen... ¡Y no corras!
