I often read that the way you're sure you're keeping things PG is by following this rule: do not do or say anything you wouldn't do in front of your grandmother. And I really have trouble with that: My grandmother is the one that makes me blush, and her grandmother isn't alive, so we can't ask her for opinions about. On that note, tomorrow I'll be going and out for a few days, to visit. It's been twelve years since the last time, and I'm sure she still can crush my bones in a hug. Everybody be good! :o)

With the new transactions record page, I read some people say that we cannot restrict results to show only transactions from today, because if we put today as initial and end date, that gives an error. Well, we can restrict transactions to show only those from today. Initial date: Today. End date: Tomorrow. (Makes perfect sense...)

The problem with being the "better person" is that (some) people actually do not care about manners. They demand you to have good manners so they can get away with what they want to do, without being called out: whatever you say about, even with the best of manners, will not be well received. But if they really cared about manners, they wouldn't be so nasty in the first place. (It just popped to my mind. I'm an innocent soul making poses for a bathtub.)

It reminded me of when I was a little girl, the power went down, and without television, my parents started talking to us. Probably, during the last two years I've read more English than I've done for the rest of my life. I've gone through some good recommendations, and today, for no other reason than just babble a bit, I wanted to do one on my own. If you ask me what I would suggest reading from Spanish writers, I wouldn't pick a Spanish author (as in "from Spain") but the Argentinian-Spanish author known as "Quino". Also, the suggestion wouldn't be a book, but a comic strip. If you haven't read "Mafalda" yet, you are missing out on a great work.

I know of a person whose parents had a black Persian cat. This cat did show up from nowhere and immediately adopted them forever since. A year ago, this person had a different black Persian cat showing up from nowhere, adopting them.

On the other hand, Science has just confirmed, in a single article basing its statistics on what people say about themselves, that I have a free ride to dismiss criticism and say that anybody I don't like is a troll and hence a horrible person! When you ask "why aren't we friends anymore?" (referring to having been removed from a contact list)... Why do you ask, and what do you exactly expect to hear?

- "Oh, I am sorry, I'm sure it's a SL glitch, let me re-add you"
- "Oh, sorry, I was cleaning my contact list and must have deleted you by mistake"
- "Well, I did it three months ago and you realize now, I think that speaks by itself"
- "Well, we never talked further from the first week"
- "Well, each time you IM me is because you want help from me"

(If you can't figure out the reason on your own, perhaps you weren't that friend at all. No, this is not directed to anybody. Replying on Lee's thread brought the question on its own in a moment when I had a keyboard at hand. Keyboards at hand are dangerous for your health, use them wisely.)
