From First, to Last, all of my SL Feed posts from January 2013. Some of them have fun links :-)
Unconditional loyalty. Is it something we should give to those that just use us for their own benefit, then forget about us when they don't need from our work? I say, no. The difficult part? Realizing that you're being used. Let's be real: Who wants to acknowledge that is being used, to oneself? We will always think we're smarter than that. (Reality, of course, has a different version of the story, called "facts".)

This link was previously posted by Pep in his feed: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-20896966 When I read it, sadly, I wasn't shocked at all, but when I read this quote in that web page: "When you see a woman straddle, she looks like a man. But if she sits side-saddle, she looks like a woman." I shook my head. For a moment, I felt like if I was reading any of the books about Gor. (And yes, I have my own pace to read the feeds.)

Tired of SL drama? Or not tired, but needing to distract your mind a few minutes? Take a break in the RL facilities! The windlight system is still a little primitive, but the Sun feels warm and the breeze in the woods has a nice, fresh smell, still to be beaten by the best SL particle system effects.
PRO-TIP: RL roses have actual thorns. Your experience with them will be greatly enhanced if you hold them where they have no thorns. You're welcome :-))

"Her eyes look tired, a creepy shine coming from them. She reads once and again, and again, the same fairy tale. From time to time, she looks inside the box. «I know I was right,» she indulges in the memory of his words. Then why the disturbing look?"

Gardening 101: Use gloves. Really. You don't want to know what you may find out there, in the real world: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ESLKWt5w4w

Gardening 102: They may look similar to the untrained eye, but beware of wasps, for they are like a psycho version of bees. Bees use to mind their business with flowers and might be naive about defending themselves ( http://d24w6bsrhbeh9d.cloudfront.net/photo/6264573_700b_v2.jpg ). Wasps will chase you, though, no matter how a
pixel bad ass you've said you are in your profile, if they feel like it.

I know I'm going to create panic at class tonight when I write things like "Let's call S the subset of allowed values for a given ..." =)

S x T is now a close friend :-) (Next week, we'll be buddies with S x T x W, and from there, with S_1 x ... x S_n)

I've just finished the second of a "omg, I'm about to pee" series of animations. My mother can be proud of me.

Yesterday I was visiting an exhibit where several of my students had some art pieces. Then I recalled the saying, "If you can't do it, teach."
