Today I want to celebrate the freedom I enjoy in my adult life. It wasn't a gift. It's a work I devote myself daily into, thanks to the adults that, helping me grow, taught me that my actions have consequences, and thus I am the responsible of them.

I begin looking up for information about the criterion used by Blender when calculating automatically the margin between islands while unwrapping, and after finding nothing in the wiki nor a clue in other webs, and telling a friend, she and I end up reading the source code of the file where all this happens. Moral of the story: Yes, I will dig this deep to get an answer to my questions.

Suddenly I've recalled when I heard, in a trial, "Justice does not protect the dishonorable person from the opinions that the own ill actions generate", smiled, and felt like sharing it.

When after a first meeting I hear "he/she's a nice person, yes?", I can't help thinking "well, you wouldn't expect he/she confesses to be laundering money and psychologically abusing their kids on the first meeting, do you?"

"Memories that should die will never go. Because you know, you can't stay away from the trees. They'll always tell you again what happened that night, and the wind will forever tear your face."

"I'm not different from everybody else. The dark secrets of my life hide behind broken doors that can't lock because I never knew when to shut up."

Yes: I've changed my mind. (And so the Blender books are out in Marketplace.)

Winter is sneaking in. It does in the night, so you can't see it coming.

"It takes the skill of listening, to know if the mountains will be your friends, or your sure grave. «Learn to listen,» my father always said. I understood the meaning when it was too late."

"Often we find that there are no good choices, and even the lesser evil will lead us to a path of difficult times."

There are times when I would scream to some people "really, there's not a «read my mind and model, unwrap and texture» button in Blender."

Airhead me forgot that three upcoming events she signed up for are really that close in time. While I'm sort of off, eat a lot of cheese, brush your teeth regularly, and be nice to each other! (For I'd hate to miss the drama should it happen :o) )

I'm almost done setting up for one fair, so I've taken a moment for break time:

Getting old and dying happens to everybody else. Then one day, you wake up with a gray hair.

I feel for you, Logic. Please, don't jump off that bridge.

Hello. Please excuse my intrusion. Do you happen to know where do I find a BFF?

Hi! Are you a BFF?

Guess who started writing for "Fusion" magazine :-)

November's issue: http://issuu.com/fusionmagazinesl/docs/fusion_magazine_-_november_2013
My "announcement": http://auryn-beorn.blogspot.com/2013/11/writing-for-fusion-magazine.html

Don't worry! I will not be writing about fashion, but a technical-of-sorts section with tips and tricks to help you improve your SL experience. I have many ideas to write about, and I also take suggestions if you wish.

"The dance of the young widow. Twirling every night, pondering over crossing that door and making the pain to stop."

Last night, the feed was a little playful, and I never saw the picture showing (now I do), so I couldn't add in time this link: http://auryn-beorn.blogspot.com/2013/11/the-dance-of-young-widow.html
(Processed version with, of course, a bit of my usual rambling - and a song.)
My apologies for the spam.

"Dear Santa, no matter what you've heard about, I promise I haven't been naughty this year. I'm even wearing a Christmas hat. Thanks for your consideration." (Happy Tuesday!)

Spanish proverbs contain some wisdom too. Three of my favorite ones are "a río revuelto, ganancia de pescadores", "nadie da duros a cuatro pesetas" and "donde dije digo, digo Diego". They contain wisdom enough as to evaluate the future of customer relationships of any IT project that bases its worth in comparing themselves to others.

However, I feel that today's favorite is "aunque la mona se vista de seda, mona se queda". Have a great day :-)
