My SL Feed - April 2014

From First, to Last, all of my SL Feed posts from April 2014. Some of them have fun links :-)

Okay, maybe I went a little too far with that joke, but this is a bit extreme a reaction :-| (WIP for Woeful Wednesday)

The tomb I was making yesterday is out:

I find it to be a fun little item for your garden. Sit on it, see your avatar name show up, and today's date as the decease date :o) (I did a decorative -hovering animation only- version too, for those that don't want the creepy detail of having the name and date showing.)

Twisted Hunt is over. Now I can explain the clues of the side hunt I prepared :-)

New script for bathtubs, bathtub mesh and other items that made me type "bathrub" instead, are out: http://blacktulip-store.blogspot.com/2014/04/dipped-in-new-edition-of-creators.html

Also, the Blender series continues with one more book for Curves: http://blacktulip-store.blogspot.com/2014/04/new-blender-book-curves-part-3.html

With that, it's time to fix the garden (the real one) and also time to prepare for the Pose Fair (among other things). Have a great weekend! :-)

This morning I tripped and fell downstairs like a pro \o/
(I was holding the cat; he didn't move until I was safely still and bent on the floor, then he just stepped down. No cat claws, no serious damage.)

In other news, the "cleaning and preparing for summer garden season" officially started at Noon. I have some first notes about it. Let's see...

April is too late in this part of the world to start preparing the garden for summer. You're already living in the jungle.
Gardening from 12 PM to 5 PM in sunny days without a hat: What were you thinking of.
Without proper snacking: Nopes. Not again.
The lawnmower didn't start: Oopsie. Hand cleaning work required in the meantime.

Using gloves: <3
Using boots: <3

Frogs singing in the pond: Cute (The first ten minutes.)
Bees taking pollen from the flowers: Cute.
Birds singing: Cute.
Whatever was running up my boot: Not cute.
All the fauna I could not recognize as belonging to this planet: Not cute.
The dead bird my cat used as a toy: Definitely not cute.

The problem with being the "better person" is that (some) people actually do not care about manners. They demand you to have good manners so they can get away with what they want to do, without being called out: whatever you say about, even with the best of manners, will not be well received. But if they really cared about manners, they wouldn't be so nasty in the first place. (It just popped to my mind. I'm an innocent soul making poses for a bathtub.)

I was about to launch my "Attention Whore Anonymous" service when I realized nobody would ever show up :-|

We have recently known of a security breach that has received the name of "Heartbleed". What's this about? Is it serious? Sei Lisa has written an informative post about it, which we hope is useful and clarifies doubts:

Suddenly I've tried to imagine how the world would be if we could love that others have loved posts, and then others could love that we've loved that others loved posts, ad infinitum. Then, my eyes crossed. I think I need help.

Sneak peek of the "Yoga" set of poses, coming for the Pose Fair (together with other seven sets plus an embarrassing animation and anything else I have time to prepare.)

"So two plus two plus two plus two plus two and cyclic groups equals to... Oh look... A spider!" (Yep. Still tied preparing ads for the Pose Fair.)

Question (but not of the day ™): A merchant lists in their profile the way to contact them. You contact them in ways not listed in said profile. Do you expect to be attended? Why? (Would you expect to be attended by your phone company if you use any other than the customer service lines/webpages they provide to you?)

The almonds in the chocolate tasted a little weird. Two weeks after, I realized that the label says "hazelnuts".

I've just remembered the time when a customer called me everything but pretty girl, because they had to figure out how to set up an AVsitter for couples, for the documentation of my (now retired) texture changer script didn't explain how to do exactly what they needed... with AVsitter. (If you wonder why a texture changer should explain how to set up AVsitter, or in a more general instance, why my scripts' documentation should explain how to setup scripts from other merchants... Trust me on this, I'm as clueless as you.)

This time, the almonds in the chocolate taste like almonds :-)))
